Written applications will be open from Monday April 29th to May 17th. A limited number of applicants will then be selected to take part in the six-week program.
Those selected will be expected to complete five weeks of online learning, beginning on June 17th. During these initial five weeks, there will be a compulsory introductory lesson in the first week. Following this, students will have one lesson each week (duration 60-120 minutes). These lessons will be recorded, allowing participants the opportunity to study at a time that is convenient to them.
Students will also be expected to complete weekly online assignments before attending the learning block in Scone. It is estimated that two hours of independent study will be required each week.
The weeklong learning block runs from Wednesday 24th July to Wednesday 31st July and includes activities on the weekend. Accommodation costs will be paid for all students and Thoroughbred Breeders Australia will subsidise the cost of travel for interstate students.
